Avoiding wasting water is everybody’s duty. Adopting responsible behaviour and with simple notions, we can save a good portion of the water wen use to meet our daily needs. L’Antico Borgo has chosen to be actively committed to the “DocciaLight” project, installing water economisers on all its shower points.

Save water

Don’t leave the water running while brushing your teeth, shaving, or washing face or hands è that will save 24l per day for each one of these sole actions! If you want your towels changed, leave them on the floor, otherwise put them back on the towel-rail: you will help us reduce the pollution caused by detergents.

Save energy

Careful with your device (phone, cameras, computers) chargers! Yes indeed, a plugged charger is very energy consuming and moreover, dangerous as it can start a fire. Turn the heater down or off if you sleep with open windows or if you leave your windows open while gone Avoid leaving the TV or computers on stand by mode. Did you know that 90% of their consumption is in stand by mode? Always turn off the lights when leaving the room or the bathroom.

Recycle

Sort out your waste, the cleaning staff will collect it for recycling. You throw away to your bin organic waste and dry non recyclable waste. You can leave next to your bin: glass bottles, plastic, soda cans, paper, magazines, newspapers, cardboards, tetrapak, batteries at unused medication
